CONTENTS

Shown below is the contents frame.

The top line of the contents frame shows the total number of persons in the genealogy database. The number has nothing to do with the ID associated with each person on the lines below it.

The number shown to the left of each name is an ID that is associated with each person. It is used as an "indicator" for each person and makes it easier for the program to list information about each person's genealogy. If you point and click on this number, another form will appear in the frame to the right. This will allow you to change and therefore update information about this person. You must have an assigned password in order to make changes to the database.

The column of names shows each person in the database. They are in alphabetical order and the persons ID is shown just to the left. You can scroll down to select the person you want. If you point and click on the person's name, other information will appear in the frame to the right of the contents frame. This is the detail frame. All detail information is shown in this frame. There can be different types of information shown in the detail frame.
